Every UniFi Protect camera URL, enumerated and ready to paste.
Protect Streams Utility — a free UniFi camera utility
A free desktop utility that enumerates your UniFi Protect cameras, enables RTSPS streams, and hands back a clean, paste-ready URL table for Crestron Home's native camera page.
Hands back clean, paste-ready RTSPS URLs for every camera — no manual string building.
Enter your dealer email to get the utility. We only email you when a new driver drops — no spam.
Current status: the console engine (v0.6.1) is
hardened; the desktop GUI front-end is still in active development in
a parallel build. There's no public download yet — join the notify
list above and you'll get an email, with the download link and file
verification info, the moment it's ready.
What it does
- Stops the log-into-each-camera, hand-edit-the-URL, chase-stale-tokens routine for good.
- Point it at your UniFi Protect console and API key — it enumerates every camera automatically.
- Enables RTSPS streams and pulls snapshot URLs in one pass.
- Outputs a clean, labeled table ready to paste straight into Crestron Home's camera settings — no driver or certification required to use it.
- Works with any control system that consumes RTSP/RTSPS URLs, not just Crestron.
Requirements
- Windows desktop
- UniFi Protect console with local API key access
- Network access from the utility to the Protect console
FAQ
- Does this need a Crestron system to be useful?
- No — it outputs standard RTSPS and snapshot URLs, which drop into any control system's native camera page. Crestron Home is the primary use case, but it's not required.
- Does my API key ever leave my machine?
- No. The utility talks directly from your machine to your Protect console over your local network. The key is used only for that session.
- Is there a paid version?
- The utility itself is free. It's also the setup companion for the paid UniFi Protect driver suite, once that ships.
